Pantone colors for Fall

Deep Teal and Phlox! Hooray.

Any ideas how often these colors come back into fashion? I had, I swear, a whole pile of just these two colors during college - 94?

I'm thinking YAY for those two as well! One year when I needed new clothing, the only colors available were pale lemon yellow and pale lime green. I wore my old stuff until it fell apart. That season was hideous.

Could we please spin the wheel for the women's colors another time and hope at least a couple more nice colors come up? I mean...Orchid Hush? Quarry? Cedar? As if fall and winter in most parts of the country aren't depressing enough already.

I like Cedar, and I think I just bought tights in something close to Quarry.

But you know, I have to stretch my closet over multiple Pantone seasons. My "deep teal" and "raspberry wine" preferences date all the way back to the 1980's.

Of these I can really only wear Deep Teal, Quarry, and Phlox. I wish I still had my Deep Teal and black striped velour shirt from junior high/high school... never mind that it had leg of mutton sleeves and was velour, neither of which is back in fashion that I know of.
