The bees are on the moss. I don't know why, but they are. |

Swarming all around, each rock along the pond is covered with moss which is, in turn, covered with bees, and I can't tell if they're drinking little droplets of moisture, or eating something. |

I took these pictures myself. In fact, these are some of the bees whose honey I eat. I will probably eat honey that comes out of these exact, precise bees.
That's pretty awesome, if you ask me.

When I was growning up a friend of the family had a bee and sheep farm. I thought it was pretty cool at this time and have fond memories of fresh honey comb...now, it think it would be AWESOME to know a source of wool and honey.
