Like this:

Unrolling little balls of their own leaves from the tip, shooting straight up and out.

The bees are on the moss. I don't know why, but they are.

Swarming all around, each rock along the pond is covered with moss which is, in turn, covered with bees, and I can't tell if they're drinking little droplets of moisture, or eating something.

I took these pictures myself. In fact, these are some of the bees whose honey I eat. I will probably eat honey that comes out of these exact, precise bees.

That's pretty awesome, if you ask me.

I have fallen in love with a very obscene, very beautiful poppy plant.

This is one of the buds, poised for opening. It's beyond ridiculous:
that bulging, clefted bottom! that hair! that vivid orange trying to
push out from inside! It's a little hard to believe, it makes me
grateful for the macro setting on my camera.
